The training and examinations required to become a certified Dermatologist are rigourous and challenging. It is a privilege to now be in a position where I can make a daily contribution to the wellbeing of my patients. I grew up in Sydney and attended Sydney Girls High School and James Ruse High School. I completed my medical degree at the University of New South Wales receiving first class honours. This was followed by internships at Westmead Hospital and Royal Brisbane Hospital. After joining the Dermatology training program, I worked at the Royal Brisbane Hospital, Queensland Institute of Dermatology and was awarded the prestigious Oxford Radcliffe fellowship to complete one year of training at the Churchill Hospital in Oxford, United Kingdom.
After graduating from the dermatology training program, I subsequently entered private practice and was also a Visiting Medical Officer at the Royal Brisbane Hospital. I also headed the skin allergy department at Westside Dermatology, one of the largest private Dermatology practices in Australia. Most recently I was employed at the Skin & Cancer Foundation of Australia in Sydney as the Deputy Medical Director and Staff Specialist.
Skin cancer diagnosis and management is at the core of my dermatology practice. I also have a special interest in all aspects of medical dermatology including psoriasis, acne, eczema, connective tissue disorders and contact dermatitis. Additionally I have extensive experience in Paediatric dermatology, hyperhidrosis, surgical and laser dermatology.
